THE 2010 CONFERENCE

This year’s conference will be held from October 5 – 7 at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (how do I get there?). The conference will feature plenaries and workshops by invited senior ecologists as well as student talks (7 mins per talk), posters and speed talk-cum-posters (4 mins per speed talk) along with good food! WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Researchers pursuing a PhD/Masters degree/Post-Doc/working as project assistants or affiliates at institutions, universities, non-government and other organizations involved in ecological research across India are invited to participate in YETI by presenting their work either through talks, speed talk-cum-posters or posters.

REGISTRATION FEES AND OTHER COSTS

Registration fees: Registered participants will be requested to pay a sum of Rs. 500/- at the venue during the event.

Accomodation: Only outstation registered participants who are presenting their work at YETI will be provided accommodation free of cost. Attendees who will not be presenting would need to make their own arrangements for accomodation (hotels near IISc).

Travel: We will be unable to provide any support towards travel to and from Bangalore and locally within Bangalore.

HOW TO APPLY

If you would like to attend or participate in this year’s conference, please follow these steps:

1. Register on the YETI website by creating a new user account (people who had created an account for YETI 2009 need not create an account again this year).

2. Login to your account.

3. Complete the online application form (Please go through the FAQ section very carefully for details on how to fill up your application form).
